1. Available Plans
The following plans are available as of the effective date:
(a) Try It Out - Introductory plan
- Price: $4.99 for the first 7 days
- After the introductory period: automatically converts to a monthly subscription at $28.80 per month
- Renewal: monthly thereafter at $28.80/month, unless cancelled before the introductory period ends
- Designed as a low-cost way to evaluate the full Service
(b) Weekly Plan
- Price: $8.99 per week
- Renewal: weekly, automatically charged at $8.99 every 7 days
- Designed for short-term or trip-based use
(c) Monthly Plan
- Price: $19.99 per month
- Renewal: monthly, automatically charged at $19.99 every 30 days
- Designed for regular ongoing use
(d) Yearly Plan
- Price: $49.99 per year
- Renewal: yearly, automatically charged at $49.99 every 365 days
- Designed for maximum savings over a 12-month commitment
All prices are in US Dollars (USD) and exclude applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax, etc.) that may be added at checkout based on your billing location.
2. Automatic Renewal
- All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current published price.
- For the Try It Out plan, the first renewal converts the plan from the $4.99 introductory rate to the standard monthly rate of $28.80.
- You will be charged on or near the renewal date. Renewal dates are based on the date of your original purchase.
- We will send a renewal reminder email at least 3 days before each renewal (where required by applicable law or as a courtesy).
- Your saved payment method will be used for renewals. You can update your payment method at any time from your account.
3. Cancellation
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard at anglerly.app.
- Cancellation stops future renewals immediately.
- You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
- Cancellation does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid. See our Refund Policy.
- To avoid renewal charges, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to ensure the cancellation is processed in time.
- For the Try It Out plan: to avoid being charged $28.80/month after the introductory period, you must cancel before the end of the 7-day introductory period.
4. Pricing Changes
- We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Price changes will not apply to your current billing cycle.
- If we change the price of your plan, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
- You can cancel before the new price takes effect if you do not wish to continue at the new rate.
5. Payment Methods
- We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and supported digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay) through our authorized payment provider.
- Available payment methods may vary by region.
- You authorize us and our payment provider to charge your selected payment method for all subscription fees and applicable taxes.
- If a payment fails (for example, due to insufficient funds, expired card, or bank decline), we will attempt to retry the charge for up to 14 days. If payment cannot be collected, your subscription will be paused or terminated and you will lose access to paid features.
6. Taxes
- Prices displayed on the website do not include applicable taxes.
- Sales tax, VAT, GST, or other applicable taxes are added at checkout based on your billing address and local tax rules.
- You are responsible for any taxes due in your jurisdiction.
7. Free Trials and Promotional Offers
- From time to time, we may offer free trials or promotional pricing. The specific terms (length, price, eligibility) will be displayed at the time of the offer.
- Unless otherwise stated, free trials and promotional plans convert to a paid subscription at the end of the promotional period at the standard rate.
- You are responsible for canceling before the promotional period ends if you do not wish to be charged.
- Promotional pricing is generally available only to new users or once per account, unless explicitly stated.
8. Account Access and Plan Changes
- You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account.
- Upgrades take effect immediately and may include a pro-rata charge for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
- Downgrades take effect at the next renewal date.
- Switching plans does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund of the previous plan.
9. Feature Availability
- Specific features included with each plan may evolve over time as we add new functionality or refine the Service.
- We will not remove core features (solunar forecasts, tide data, weather, catch journal, saved spots) from any paid plan without at least 30 days' notice and an opportunity to cancel.
10. Suspension and Termination
- We may suspend or terminate your subscription if you violate our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
- If we terminate your subscription for cause, no refund will be provided for the remaining period.
- If we terminate your subscription without cause (for example, if we discontinue the Service), we will provide a pro-rata refund of any unused portion of your current billing cycle.
11. Service Availability
We aim to provide the Service with high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance, third-party outages, or unforeseen incidents may cause temporary unavailability. Short-term unavailability does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund.
12. Changes to These Subscription Terms
We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Subscription Terms limits any statutory consumer rights that apply in your jurisdiction, including (where applicable) the 14-day cooling-off period for digital services under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
