- Account details: name, email address, password (hashed and never stored in plain text)
- Profile information: optional display name, profile photo, fishing preferences
- Subscription and billing information: name, billing address, payment method details (processed by our payment provider, not stored by us)
- User Content: catch logs, photos, location pins, notes, gear and bait records
- Communications: messages you send to our support team
(b) Information we collect automatically
- Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent, click patterns
- Location data: GPS coordinates when you enable location features (only with your explicit permission)
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 8
(c) Information from third parties
- Authentication providers: if you sign in with a third-party identity provider, we receive limited profile data from them
- Payment processor: transaction confirmations and limited card metadata (last 4 digits, card brand)

- Generating personalized fishing forecasts and saving your catch journal

- Subscription and billing records: minimum 7 years to comply with tax and accounting laws
- User Content: until you delete it or your account
- Support communications: up to 3 years
- Analytics data: aggregated and anonymized data may be retained indefinitely

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact legal@anglerly.app and we will delete it.
11. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest where appropriate
- Hashed and salted password storage
- Access controls and authentication for our staff
- Regular security reviews and monitoring
No system is completely secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact support@anglerly.app immediately.
